The Artificer team is honored to work together with Taipei 101 company to launch a limited co-branded product - "Artificer Damper Baby Edition".
▌The Thinking Behind the Collaboration
It all started with the ingenuity of the 101 team. They hope to give the public a deeper understanding of the building’s architecture and construction and because it has a world-leading feature—the big golden ball "Damper" suspended on the 92nd floor of the 101 Building.”。
The 101 building, with a height of 508-meters tall was at one time was tallest skyscraper in the world. Due to it’s height, it’s prone to swinging due to the effects of wind. In order to reduce the swinging effects and maintain the stability and balance of the building structure, the installation of anti-wind dampers is the most ideal solution.
This world’s largest damper has also become the focus of the 101 Building. To draw attention to this unique feature, Taipei 101 Company launched four mascots named "Damper Baby" to help the public realize the importance of this damper to this building.
